Sand Moor GC call on everyone involved in golf to play their part in developing a culture that values women’s involvement in every aspect of the sport, from participating to pursuing a career.

Our ladies section welcomes new members and encourages lady golfers to play both socially and competitively. There are a wide range of competitions organised throughout the year including medals, stablefords, matchplay knockouts and the yearly run club competitions. Nearly all competitions are run on a Tuesday and/or Thursday, as these are the two ladies days in the week where our ladies have reserved tee times in the morning ranging from 9am -10.30am.

As well as this, the ladies section at Sand Moor Golf Club takes time off the golf course to organise social events within the club house, including annual dinners and lunches. It is a great way for the ladies to come together and enjoy some social time.
